Delivery Server - Webt. doesn't deliver

Hi Alicia,

I've setup up a Delivery Server, filled with items (23 with no mod/copy/transfer)

Delivery works inworld, direct from D.-Server or Sender Server - with me as owner and a other manager.

If i want to deliver the same (or other item) via Webtools, i got a script error message from the D.-Server and nothing was delivered:

Code: Select all

Delivery Server: Unable to give inventory: 'No item named 'xxx item name xxx'.'.

xxx Item name xxx = my item name

All other IM or status messages says that the item was delivered.

I can deliver the same item inworld without problems.

Can you give me a hint please

In running some tests it seems that if your item names have multiple spaces in a row it will not work when sending via the web. Somehow the web scripts are stripping out any repeating spaces in a row from the item names, so when they try to send inworld you get a script error.

I am working on a fix on the web scripts and will post here when corrected. In the meantime you can re-name your items to not have more than 1 space successively and it will work just fine. I understand that's a big pain and I'm sorry for any trouble.

We were so worried in testing about allowing all special characters in item names but never thought to test for multiple spaces in a row. Thanks for alerting me of the issue and hopefully I will be able to correct it soon.

It should be working properly now. Give it a try and let me know when you have a chance. There's a slight chance you may need to reset the scripts in your main servers, but only if it doesn't work at first.
